School Board

​The school board is an advisory board that assists with the formulation of policies, school budgeting and planning and maintenance of the school. Each year members of the parent community are elected to form part of the school board.

Sts Peter and Paul's School Board was established (under Diocesan guidelines) in 1994 to support the Administration of the School. The Board consists of the Parish Priest and Principal as ex-officio members, a staff representative, a P&F representative, three elected parent representatives and a Parish Pastoral Council representative. These elected representatives participate in formation activities that include in­service in the "shared wisdom model" of service.

The Board's main areas of competence include Financial Management and Budgeting, Provision of Facilities and their Maintenance, Policy making , School Renewal Issues and some areas of Curriculum. The School Board operates from and under the Mission and Vision of the School.
